2008 is upon us.

As we close out on 2007 it is great to see the Lord at work in our midst. Last night we had our annual "Watchnight" service and had one of the best crowds we have ever had for our New Years Eve service. We had 5 great sermons, 2 brought by teenagers, 2 by men of our church, and 1 brought by our former Pastor. I was especially proud of our two teenagers, Josh McKinley and Seth Sheffield, for the messages that they preached last night. It is awesome to see God use young people who are willing to submit to the Lord's will.

As we move into 2008 it is important for us as a church to press forward in the work of the Lord. One of the things I'm most excited about in the coming year is our new Discipleship program that we will begin in the spring. "A to Z Of Christian Mentoring" will help to strengthen and grow many of our church members. We will be unveiling the program to the church in the coming weeks and I am sure the Lord will use this program to do great things through our church.
